The IDEAL Society is located on 480 acres of meadows and pristine forests, including two rivers and a lake. We are exploring new ways of building in harmony with our environment, and research on form, the use of ecological materials, as well as correct utilization of energy are priorities in all our projects.

A twelve-sided, two-level building with a large kitchen and 125-person capacity was also built by the members of IDEAL Society and it is now being used for various activities such as seminars, meetings, concerts and meals. In addition, there are two green houses and two large vegetable gardens.

In 1996 a multi-purpose building was built using an innovative type of straw bale insulation, which now houses our reception office and printing house. Later on, two 215-sq. ft. octagonal wooden cottages were added.
The Institute envisions the creation of a self-sustainable Eco-Village and a “Green University” where IDEAL’s new educational system will be implemented. This includes a Prenatal Education centre, a Music School and a Research Centre. We plan to base our architectural designs on environmental principles, making use of sustainable energy resources (solar, hydraulic, composting, waste recycling, etc.) and ecological materials. The design will include a Japanese garden, octagonal residences, educational and cultural centers, and more.

• The Main Hall (200 to 300 person capacity) will be used for lectures, meetings, presentations and community meals.
The kitchen, food storage and service areas will be located in the extension to the hall.
• The Administration Building will include the Administration Office, assembly rooms, book and video library, computer and internet room and more...
• Reception Centre for guests and students
• Observatory & Water Tower

Community and family residences will house teachers, artists, and the family who participate in IDEAL’ s programs and activities.

The student campus is an important part of our Eco-Village project. We plan the construction of circular homes, each with 8 bedrooms, to accommodate our guests and students.
