The Ideal wellness center
Well being is much more than just the absence of suffering; it is the ability to intimately engage with our inner self as we journey through life.
Ideal Wellness is first and foremost a research and training center. It offers a range of services with the aim of fostering our innate talent for intimate self-knowledge, aided by experienced practitioners, thereby enabling us to better cope with life’s vicissitudes and challenges.
The path to achieving well being consists in relaxing the body, stilling the mind, and learning to manage stress in order to cultivate harmonious exchanges with one’s roots and heritage, one’s family, social group, inner being, and with nature. This at one-ness with our environment then allows the serene flow of our creativity.
Ideal wellness offers a variety of avenues to rekindle this intimate relationship with the inner self and with life :
- Rediscovering nature through themed walks
- Gardening as a form of Yoga
- Building rapport with animals
- Art as a powerful harmonising tool
- Themed camps for adults and/or young persons
- Self-development workshops
- Holistic health treatments

Our Ideal wellness provides a range of services – workshops, seminars, camps, coaching, consulting – either on location in Jaffray B.C., or via internet consultations. Moreover, a host of scientific, educational, artistic and other fun and playful resources can be accessed via our website to accompany you on your quest for greater self-awareness, thus leading to increased spontaneity, creativity and intimacy with others.
Our good health depends on the balance between our survival mechanism, governed by the nervous sympathetic system, and the life mechanism, governed by the para-sympathetic system.
The survival mechanism holds the key to our talents and abilities, permitting us to live a longer life and to improve our daily existence. Its domain is that of matter and possessions. This system is more predominant in the West and this is why we can live beyond the 80 years we are normally expected to live.
The life-mechanism repairs our organism, giving it the essential nourishment it needs during the night and during all rest periods. This function operates outside time or space. It is nourished and developed by our spiritual life: spiritual in the sense of an intuitive and transcending experience connected to Life’s vital energy, belonging to everyone regardless of age, nationality, sex or social status.
This mechanism develops through the moments when our attention is focused on Life’s magic and beauty... moments of fugitive and transitory grace that surpass the very causes that induced them. These experiences can also be triggered by art, meditation or various Yogas.
In the East, the mechanism of life predominates over that of survival; less attention is lavished on external factors but more on inner well-being.
To serve the greater purpose of Life, the survival-mechanism needs to be directed by the life-mechanism, as it is full of talents and vitality but capable of destroying everything when not controlled and disciplined.
IDEAL Society seeks to encompass both systems: to reinforce the life-mechanism so as to educate the survival-functions which are rich in talents and abilities that can be offered to the world.
